Milazim Krasniqi: LDK, largest political project in Albanian history

Krasniqi has said that the Democratic League of Kosovo is the biggest political project in the history of Kosovo Albanians.

Many others later wished they were in that country that day, but there were not”, Krasniqi said.

According to him with the formation of the LDK, they won over fears, censorship, communism and also oversaw Panslavism.

Today it was 29 years from the day when we founded the Democratic League of Kosovo at locals of the Kosovo Writers, the largest political project in the history of the Kosovo Albanians. It's been a long time, we've had successes and failures, victories and defeats, but the date of the establishment remains a permanent victory.

We won over fear, censorship, Communism, panslavism. Over the years, each of us founders took our lead, but our contributions remain forever on the foundation of this monument project. Many others later wanted to be there but were not.

Those of us who were there were lucky, because we had a chance to touch the change that made history. (As seen in this picture from the founding Parliament, it was time for me to wear a scarf. )
