Limaj has announced the Italian ambassador for the first meetings the state delegation is holding several days after voting in the Kosovo Assembly. On the other hand, Ambassador Sardi said Italy strongly supports the State Delegation voted in the Kosovo Assembly.
The ambassador said Kosovo has taken a major step with this delegation's vote and that Rome encourages Kosovo to continue dialogue with Serbia.
Co-chairman Limaj has announced that the delegation has held the first constitutional meeting where certain decisions have been made; as it is to prepare the platform or principles for talks with Serbia. Limaj has also announced the delegation's meetings with Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
The idea of these meetings, according to Limaj, is to coordinate activities and get all information and documentation on what has been discussed so far with Serbia. Limaj has assured the Italian ambassador that the delegation will be in full co-ordination with other institutions.
Limaj said Kosovo enters this dialogue with clear objectives; reaching a final agreement that leads to mutual recognition and enables Kosovo's membership in the UN and other international organisations.
