Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj meets with Secretary Mattis, calling for US support for the military.
Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj is participating in the special US meeting and the Adriatic Charter in Zagreb, where US Defence Secretary James Mattis has attended for the first time.
After a few hours of closed meeting, Hoxhaj in margin has held a brief meeting with US Defence Secretary Hames Mattis, where the particular topic of conversation has been the American support to transform it KSF in Armed Forces.
Hoxhaj has said that American support for Kosovo and the entire region, like every time, is necessary.
The “was a very important meeting of Adriatic Charter states with the United States where US Defence Secretary James Mattis was present. We discussed joint regional security successes and challenges. We were able to trade with Secretary Mattis for US support and separately the important role he may have in the KSF transition to the Armed Forces. I announced with the progress and successful confession of KSF in the years that has been established with the help of the US and NATO” Hoxhaj has said.
The Adriatic Charter meeting has taken place in the afternoon. The US, where Hoxhaj has also sought support from neighbouring states for Kosovo's full membership in the Adriatic Charter.
