A great enthusiasm for student protests in Albania, notes on social networks even by Kosovars. It's normal, along with the normal student requirements they have in Albania.

But what Kosovo lacks, in addition to supporting Albania in this protest, is a protest in Kosovo. Or, dozens of protests in Kosovo.

If we look at a chronology of protests in post-war Kosovo, they've mainly had to deal with issues such as demarcation, association, war veterans. Interestingly, many protesters have gathered for such topics.

So there were protests from which you expected some influence.

But the opposite is with the protests that are organised, strictly on social issues. Protests about the price of electricity, protests for justice, and so on are organized from time to time, but these protests do not bring up enough protesters. And when you see the overall picture of what they've achieved, it's almost a symbolic result. To say we protested. Or like that saying: We made ours.

As journalists, we distribute on almost daily grounds information that could lead every day of the river to protest arrangements.

I remember being at work when I published news like: Kosovo loses millions of euros (on highways, in the current, in the water). Scandals at QKUUK. Family violence and even more violence against women. Here too, protests are staged, and you go, and on occasion, there are victims.

On the other hand, when you examine, as we deal on day - to - day bases and with citizens' reactions (see how they express themselves to news we publish), they see a widespread resentment over the years but that does not exceed the keyboard. So we protest more with keyboards (including ourselves, of course, when I say we).

So our hearts protest, but our legs are not ready.

Why are our protest demands not realized? You could say it, but it's necessary: we get back fast. We quickly fall for the protests. Long ago, I had read an article in a foreign media (Guardian if I'm wrong for now).

The article was the editorial position of the editorial edition entitled Why don't we protest?

It was about the culture of non-organization and the lack of staying in protest until the requirements were met. There too, the editorialist concluded: Because our hearts protest, but not our feet.
