Former company employees “IMN Kosova” have protested today in front of the Pristina municipality and have demanded that the municipality carry out the 20 per cent wage, due to the company's privatisation.
Protest Council Chairman Mustafe Krasniqi said that 20 per cent is their only requirement, for which he indicated they are now waiting many years. Krasniqi has also shown before the media the agreement the AKP has accepted, but which, according to him, the municipality is not implementing.
Of one of the protesters, Emin Laloshi, who says he was also one of the founders of this enterprise, said former workers have become victims of resentment between Shpend Ahmeti and Isa Mustaf.
While a former employee of this company, Xhemajl Islami, says he has worked for 33 years in the company. He has told Kosovo Press that they are only seeking what is due them, but according to him, leaders are not considering it.
In this request, these former employees protested in April of this year.
Meanwhile, not a representative of the municipality appeared before the protesters, and within an hour, they left, but with the warning that they would hold more protests.
