Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has taken seriously control of the quality of products on the Kosovo market. The night before, he has pledged to publish all toys which are traded in Kosovo and which are out of the standard for use.
At today's government meeting, the minister of commerce has made public tests for 15 toys, and the results show that all, according to him, are out of the standard for use.
Shala has suggested that he decided to get them off the market and destroy those toys.
The first of the MTI, has called for all those toys to be seen, whether in brands or houses to call the consumer's office to leave as soon as possible.
We are dedicated to being at the top of the task every day, to control the quality of products sold on our market, so that we can make life as easy as our citizens can and together to build the safe future for our children”, Shala wrote among other things in his account on Facebook.
Below is Minister Shala's full post in é Facebook, and the list of toys that are out of the standard for use.
Dear citizens, honored parents, dear children
It's a priority for me and the Ministry of Trade and Industry to control the quality of products in the Kosovo market, as a result, we've run tests for 15 toys that are traded on our market. From the results we've received, it's all out of standards for use, so I decided to get them off the market and destroy them.
We have also banned the entrance of all toys that have no CE certificates and do not have according to European Union standards. Last night on the DPT show at Fidan on T7 television, I promised that these toys would publish and that's what I'm doing today.
Please, wherever you find them, if you have them in your homes, or see them on our market to call the consumer office at the 8000 MTI phone number, and if you have them in your homes, put them away as soon as possible. The following are the results of tests proving that these toys are harmful. We are committed to being at the top of the task every day, to control the quality of products sold on our market, so that we can make life as easy as our citizens can and together to build a secure future for our children.
