According to official data, from 2000 to the end of September 2018 Kosovo imported food and non-food products worth 5 billion euros from Serbia, until Kosovo producers in this state exported 300m euros worth of products during this period.
Trade relations between Kosovo and Serbia are growing from day to day, despite the continuing deterioration of political reports between these two states. Based on official data from the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK), imports from Serbia have reached the record since the end of the war so far.
During this year, Serbian companies in our country exported products worth less than 449m euros, until Kosovo companies in this country exported 48m euros worth of products, and during this year the trade deficit has been around 400m euros, the largest so far. The situation was almost similar during 2016, where Serbian companies in Kosovo exported food and non-food products worth 387m euros this year, while Kosovar ones in this country exported products worth 41m euros, writes the newspaper “Zri”.
Always based on official data is seen as during 2015 Serbian companies in Kosovo exported food and non-food products worth 382m euros, while Kosovo's in this state exported products worth 32m euros. Furthermore, based on official data, it is seen that wheat-based food products are also among the main products Serbia exports to our country.
