The renowned “Time” has placed Haley among the world's 100 most inspiring people. She comes from the Indian-American community, and she's only the second governor in the United States to belong in this community.
Her real name was Nimrata Randhawa, but she was named Nikki by her family in a comfortable manner. She had emigrated to the United States from the Amritsar District in Punjab, India.
