Minister's bodyguard kills one person and wounds two others in Sri Lanka

One person has been killed and two others have been injured in Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo, when a government minister's bodyguard, led by the prime minister, Ranil Wickresinghe, opened fire on a population of protesters. Ruwan Gunasekara, a police spokesman, told reporters that an oil minister's bodyguard, Arjuna Rannatunga, expelled faithful people of President Sirius, when they tried to stop the fired minister from entering his office.
A 34-year-old was killed in the incident, according to police reports Al Jazeera.
The man who opened the fire was arrested and an investigation is under way, police said.
