Limaj criticises Thaci: So far, dialogue is done with hands in pockets.

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj said Kosovo should be treated as an equal state by the EU, and not as so far as compared to other countries in the region, while dismissing the possibility of negotiating Kosovo's partition.

He made these comments during a meeting with the governing structure of the Social Democrat Initiative in Vushtrri, Mitrovica and Leposaviq.

Limaj in Vushtrri today has said that the Kosovo Government's goals for this year are visa liberalisation, Interpol membership and the formation of the Kosovo Army.

He said he hopes that as far as membership in Interpol is concerned, there is expected to be good news in November, as long as the formation of the military is the work done.

This issue of Interpol and visa liberalisation, we're as serious as we're that we're not going on adventure and talk about something that's not in our hands. We're not the ones who set the date, there's somebody else and we can't even joke about people saying it's gonna be this day or that day. We expect visa liberalisation as soon as possible. I believe this case will be closed soon. Interpol is sufficiently committed and I hope that in November we will have positive news, but there is still a lot of work. Over the army case is a closed case. Tomorrow in parliament, laws that the KSF has converted into the Kosovo Army” will be in first read, he said.

Limaj said Kosovo should be treated as an equal state by the EU and not as yet as compared to other countries in the region, while dismissing the possibility of negotiating for partitioning Kosovo.

“We go into dialogue, we believe the way should be found to close open issues between neighbouring countries, but never and in no case do we participate in the negotiating table which are at the expense of our state. There we go with many demands Kosovo has. So far he's gone with his hands in his pockets or white paper. We are preparing to go there with some topics, for Brussels only for Serbia apart. And where it lies on the table the topic of partitioning Kosovo, we will never be participants and it will never happen”, he said.

The head of the Initiative said that if political subjects flee from responsibilities for the state, that will not make the subject he runs, even through elections.

“If these groups do not make way for the country, the Initiative will come up with a solution, but the country will not remain blocked. The solution must be given to the country, even through elections”, he said.

While National Social Democrat Initiative Council Chairman Jakup Krasniqi had a message on how to get better for all citizens in Kosovo.

Social Justice, solidarity has been created in the more developed countries of our continent to strengthen the rule of law. We really need the rule of law. We're not satisfied with the level of state rights, but that doesn't mean not to love our country, but we have to love a state of social justice, where we rule order and law, where education is developed, where every citizen feels good. We regret that we have not yet achieved this state so that each citizen will feel well and see its own perspective in its own place. It will be good for all when commitment is made to change the economic, social and economic situation”, Krasniqi said.

Initiative Secretary General Bilall the Sheriff urged greater membership engagement for strengthening this party, saying that without organisational growth within the party there can be no explosion in the number of votes, the KP broadcasts.

While the chairman of the Initiative's branch in Vushtrri, Abdullah Vojvoda, has talked about the functioning of this branch in Vushtrri, saying the Initiative programme has changed the costelation of political forces in the recent municipal elections.
