According to Sky News sources, the journalist's body was “cut” and its face was “imagined”.
Tuesday's (September 23rd) afternoon Turkish President Erdogan urged Saudi Arabia to give answers to Khashogg's body and who ordered his murder.
During his address to the country's Parliament, Erdogan said the murder of Saudi journalist was planned in advance and not an incident, as Saudi Arabia reported.
However, he did not reveal any details about evidence gathered on the murder. As he did not mention any audio or video footage mentioned in Turkish media in the days following the journalist's disappearance, allegedly confirming the fact that Khashogg had been tortured, killed, his fingers cut off and his body disbanded.
The journalist disappeared on October 2nd after entering Saudi cosules in Istanbul. He was a prominent critic of the Saudi government.
