Kosovo Assembly MP Donika Kadaj Buyippi has spoken of her association with her colleague, Albulen Haxhiu.

Cadaj has said in a Tribunna Channel show that she is lucky to have a friend like Albulen, with whom she was also in custody at Lipjan.

“It's my best friend, we've known from 2010, but our commitment, our opposition actions have drawn us even closer, and we'll continue our journey not only as political activists and deputy colleagues but also as friends. We've notified the families we're meeting, she and my kids with her, and she doesn't spend days without a communicator at least with a Cka boone in Viber”, Kadaj said.

She has praised Hagi for the courage she showed while she was in prison, leaving her baby out.

She's also a very good politician. She's an extraordinary mother who cares about Tomor Mountain. But she gives more for herself to Kosovo, she inherited it from her grandfather, and I'm lucky that I've met her, and I've accompanied her. We've been through a lot together, even with the arrest period, where we're not allowed to be in a cell together, she had a little boy still in her bosom while she was in prison, but she faced it with power and courage”, Cadaj stressed.

Hadzi said, however, that before becoming a friend, she had a very different impression of Donika, who seemed reserved and difficult to communicate.

Before this time I had the next impression of Donika, it seemed to me that he was more reserved and a little harder with the communique, my impression was wrong because she's very friendly, cheerful and persistent in what you're going to call me. Donika was in custody in Lipjan, and then the police arrested me, and I wanted to be put in a room with Donica because we talked about what was going on outside but left. We were placed in the rooms in front of each other, and we could see each other only through a small hole from which we talked all night long. When Donika was released, and I was left inside, and I had nothing, she left all my clothes and books with me. I'm lucky you're my friend, I hope you're always like this”
