The head of the Assembly has decided to suspend all visits by MPs abroad by February 20th this year, without pointing to the reasons for the decision.
Artan Murati from KDI tells Arbres.info that it does not rule out the possibility that the prosecution of Demarketation and Bill to abolish the Special Court during this time be held in the Assembly, and MPs are required to be present.
The official reason is currently unknown, but what has been spoken at the helm has been that the MPs have been here because of the hearings, but this could very easily be linked to the Special Initiative in case the Government gives an opinion and this is quickly prosecuted in the Assembly so that the MPs will be present here, or even on the demarcation issue. I do not rule out the possibility that MPs who have been here can quickly prosecute these two issues or demarcation or this special work and are required to be deputies present”, he has said.
However, analysts in the country see this decision of headship as right, but they assess that after that date it may even go to elections.
Politologist Gurakuc Kuci tells of Arbres.info that the head of the Assembly has an anti-Haridinaj composition and there are no representatives from the AAK and Initiative.
According to him, both the Special Court and the Demarket case should be given epilogue.
Each epilogue of them has circumstances that are not in favour of current governance, and MPs were ordered not to leave the country until February 20th, which I don't believe will have the same governance after February 20. The country is heading towards new elections with no stable party and no capable politician, but only people who put personal interests ahead of any state interest and political responsibility”, he has said.
News of this decision has revealed the Assembly Monitor from the Kosovo Democratic Institute, Albert Krasniqi, without telling the details of this decision.
