Congress adopted the sanctions law in August. US President Donald Trump had signed new sanctions, expressing his reservations.

Kremlin said the list could harm the reputation of those involved on the list.
The government was asked to draft the list after Congress approved it in August, reports “BBC”, report Periscope.
The law aims to condemn Russia as a result of intervention in the 2016 election elections and military operations undertaken in Ukraine.
Informally known as Putin's “List”, the unclassified section has 210 names, 114 of them in the government, linked to Russia's President Vladimir Putin, and top businessmen.
Another 96 are oligarchs apparently more determined by the fact that they are worth more than $1 billion (710 million pounds) than their close ties to the Kremlin./Periscopi/
