Kosovo judicial system assessment report published today

The offices of the European Union and Council of Europe in Pristina will present the detailed “report on the assessment of the judicial system in Kosovo”. The report covers the issue of efficiency of the judicial system in Kosovo by analyzing financial and human resources, organising and substance remaining in courts and prosecutors.
The data has been collected and analyzed based on the evaluation scheme designed by the Commission for Efficiency in Justice.
(CEPEJ) with the goal of understanding and evaluation of judicial systems. The report submits findings and recommendations.
The event is organised in the context of the Horizontal Instrument for the Western Balkans and Turkey ( Horizontal Instrument), the joint initiative of the European Union and the Council of Europe for Southeast Europe and Turkey, featuring the main instrument for promoting common EU and Council of Europe standards in the region.
