Defence Minister Olta Dzacka inspected the locations in Strygina, Lezha County and in Cape Paul, Durres County this weekend.
During the inspections, the defence minister underlined the government's goals for the next four years in terms of the Armed Forces. “Modernisation of Armed Forces is a top priority, not only of the year it has just begun, but of the entire 4-year-old.
Landings like these in Strygine or Tall Head, as well as naval bases, have special significance and value, for the history of the Armed Forces, but also for the developmental and tourist potential of the surrounding areas”, Minister Gack said during the visit to Paul's Cape Station.
Accompanied by Deputy Minister Petro Koci, the defence minister during the visit to the FA station at Strygin, inspected the 4 Torpedes tunnel. We will soon review all possibilities for new investments, for new projects, to reinstate even the revival of such bases.
There is an emergency to invest, but there is also enormous potential to develop, to be more attractive even to positively influence the economy”, Gacka said.
In Stryen's establishment during the 12 months of the year stands ready a sea force patrol, whose crew, like all the FA's effective, thanked them for their professionalism and commitment to carrying out the mission at sea, land or air.
