According to reports, the challenge was first published as a joke by a satirical news organisation.

The challenge in question quickly became true as it circulated in social media with multiple videos loaded on YouTube, by the people attending the challenge.
One of the videos is loaded and has reached over 12,000 clicks. Another is loaded on account GayGold's been seen over 153 thousand times.
Dr. Alfred Aleguas, from Florida, has said that consumption of any amount of detergent can lead to vomiting and diarrhea and that in extreme cases, it can be life threatening.
