The disciplinary procedure, as confirmed to the “Cohehe Ditore”, is continuing against two other policemen, against whom the Disciplinary Interior Commission is. The PK has requested additional investigation.
The 59 police officers were arrested late last year during a broad police action. They were invited to question Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK). From there, they were handcuffed, and at the order of the prosecutor, they were sent to the police detention center.
Of this group, 20 are officers from the South Mitrovica Highway Control Unit, 20 from the North Mitrovica Regional Traffic Unit, 15 from the South Mitrovica Regional Traffic Unit, and 4 officials from the Prizren Regional Traffic Unit.
