Kosovo, EU sign agreement on monitoring local elections

The signing of this memorandum took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between Foreign Minister Immanuel Demaj's Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo and the chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, which also exercises the post of EU Special Representative to Kosovo Natalia Apostova.

This memorandum envisions that the European Union will send the Government of the Republic of Kosovo a copy of the EU Monitoring Mission's declaration on early findings and conclusions, which will be issued after Local Elections Day and another copy of the final report of the European Union's Monitoring Mission, which will be released weeks after the proclamation of final results, is said in the media communique.
