Brend Riexinger party leader said Monday that “The AfD should know that we will find its most fierce opponents and that we will firmly oppose any nationalist and racist positions”, said “Deutsche Welle”, Periscopi broadcast.
Riexinger also indicated that his party would also reassess its social policies, acknowledging that the AfD had managed to exploit Germany's social divisions in its favour.
According to German news agency “dpa”, Seehofer said it did not imply that his party should break its parliamentary group with the CDU. However, he confirmed that the topic would be discussed between CSU's leadership./Periscopi/
