The company “Cleaning” launches the election campaign, Shpend Ahmeti calls it saboteur

The company “Cleanery” has reacted to Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, who today at a conference said that from January 2018, the trash bills will be paid in Pristina municipality.

The cleanup company conducts a host of accusations towards Ahmeti, whom they call the biggest sabotager of services for the citizens of Pristina.

“Cleaning” has priority service delivery for its citizens regardless of who is in charge of the Pristina municipality. During this four-year term, Shpend Ahmeti has been the biggest sabotager to offer better service to Pristina citizens.

He has been repeatedly addressed by the management of this company to meet with Shpend Ahmeti, but he has never responded to such demands.

His reasons are trivial for failing to operate underground containers, Shpend Ahmeti is blaming the company, which is not true. The container's technical accession has made the current governance of the Pristina municipality, namely former Public Services Director Ardian Gashi.

For a time the KM” Cleaning” has performed this service, but with the problem being presented and dangers from underground containers the company has interrupted this service. Private operators do not have permission from the Pristina municipality for waste service, but during the entire term of Shpend Ahmeti they have operated freely without any obstacle from the municipality and causing trouble “Cleaning”.

The new logistics operation plan that Shpend Ahmeti says is ready, this is not true and that this plan is not the Pristina municipality's project but GIZ's in co-operation with the KM” Cleaning” and the municipality that will start being compiled by next month and will be functional in the field after several months.

The municipality has not started recycling waste, only in the Dardania district has the GIZ's division of waste.

The mayor, who tries to talk about waste service, offers proposals for businesses to be served with container 7m3, does not realize that the spaces where businesses carry out activities are small while such a container holds great space. There are over 4,000 businesses in the Pristina municipality if we consider the value of a 7m3 container then this would cost over 4m euros that the municipality will not be able to cover this investment. This would cause chaos in the capital.

Shpend Ahmeti has sabotaged co-operation and work with the “Cleaning” company to serve citizens. The Shpend has eliminated Pristina from “Gara for the Clean Environment” by not signing the documents for meeting the criteria, with this sabotage that Pristina has lost over $300,000, for the only reason the company doesn't have results.

The burning of containers was mentioned by Dardan Sejdiu just as by Shpend Ahmeti a few months ago, who accused the company “Cleaning” and Chief Executive Chief of Burning container, though last month Chief Executive Chief Chief Chairman Feim Salihu has filed a lawsuit at the Constitutional Court in Pristina.
