Scaramucci was a symptom. The problem remains.

It's probably Donald Trump's secret game to mark a new record throughout US history for shorter periods in office and faster staff shift to White House collaborators. If that is true, then with the dismissal of the communications director named just a few days ago, Anthony Saramucci, his government is actually located in the right <x0 Street”, as the president likes to, complete this mission.

But releasing the posts of Trump's press spokesman, Sean Spicer, his Chief of Staff, Raynce Priebus and the newly appointed communications director at such a short distance of time is really very problematic that you can enjoy this. Because the circumstances in which they all left the White House are so dramatic that they wouldn't even be able to find a place in the cult series “West Wing” and there was only the proportions and personal and political lines of a US government.

White House in a Fight

Intrigues that have been turned into a permanent element in the White House and at the time of internal and international challenges have made the government residence without direction and chaos. In normal situations, it is the White House's duty to draw up a political agenda shot at the government and a process of work between different ministries, institutions and congress, but under the White House Trump is very concerned with hostility and treason. The lack of political and professional experience of many of Trump's close associates could certainly have contributed to this, but it is not the main reason for this White House's inability under the presidency of Trump.

The main problem, let's talk honestly, why this White House just doesn't work in many parts of it is the president himself. Because President Trump not only chose most of his associates himself, often against the advice of experienced observers, but he seems to think, that a bitter culture of working against one another of individuals and factions in the White House could produce good results. But that's not happening.

Missing chain of orders

How problematic on one side is the climate at work set up by the president, such is his inability to allow, without let go, a clear chain of orders, which does not include him at any particular step.

Scaramucci, who acted like an Alt-Ego of Trump, not only predicted the overthrow of his rival Priebus but also boasted that he reported directly to Trump and not as usual, the chief of his staff. The president apparently possesses the ability to intervene in all things and not respect the consolidation protocol.

Along with Trump's tendency to cause debate with his private appearance on twitter and his glance let's call it unconventional towards current events, the president's behaviour has made the White House and beyond that, the entire government, de facto unable to govern.

John Kelly's power limits

The latest example of this came, when Trump concluded a tweet with the words “there is no chaos in the White House”, just hours before the departure of Saramucc. This news leaves two issues open: Does the President himself believe what he writes? If so, this is a big problem. Second, and this is more important, will President Trump allow his new Chief of Staff, John Kelly, to own not only the White House but also the White House itself?

Based on what we've noticed in the past six months, I wouldn't bet on that. Even if it still is impossible to predict any developments in this regard: If even this attempt to put order in the White House fails, then we will have a clear signal that Trump's presidency is doomed to failure.
