Kadri Wessel's bid for withdrawal of Parliament's chairmanship is valid by Wednesday

Subheader The PDK, Rexhep Hoti, has said that their chairman's offer, Kadri Wessel's, to withdraw from the candidacy for chief parliament, is valid until next week.

If by Wednesday, LAA and Vetevendosje do not meet the condition to vote on Haradinaj Government, then Wessel's bid will be finalised, Hoti has confirmed for Periscope.

A few days ago, Wessel issued a statement that if other parties vote on Ramush Haradinaj for prime minister, then he will not run for Speaker of the Parliament.

It is Vetevendosje and the LAA coalition that refuse to vote for Wessel. Those parties have even said they will consider another's candidacy for the post, except for Kadri Wessel.

The constitutional Assembly session, which continued Friday, was interrupted because the PDK did not participate and proposed the candidate for Parliament Speaker.

While Parliament Speaker Adem Mikulovci has invited the parties Wednesday for consultations to set the next session. /Periscopi/
