Trump said at the White House on Wednesday that the US would view those “votes” at the General Assembly.
They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we're looking at those votes, let's vote against us, we're going to save a lot,” quoted Trump news agency “Reuters”.
The UN General Assembly will hold an emergency session Thursday to vote on the controversial US decision, reports “Alzeera”, Periscopi broadcast.
The motion is expected to easily pass into the 193-member UN body, but this will be non-binding.
At the UN we're always asked to do more and give more. So when we make a decision, at the will of the American ppl, where to lose OUR input, we don't expect those we helped to target us. On Thurs there will be a vote criticizing our chiice. The US will be taking names. Pic.twitter. com/ ZsusB8Hqt4

Trump's comments came after Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the UN, sent threatening letters to UN member states, urging them to vote against the motion.
Haley also said in Titter that the UN “states will receive the names of countries voting in favour of resolution”.
Riyadh al-Malki, Palestinian Foreign Minister, on Wednesday accused the US of “threatening” of UN General Assembly member states ahead of the vote.
“This is really a new definition of world order in politics and it seems that the American administration... is putting their stamp on a new political reality that many countries will reject”, Malki said.
The UN session will show “how many countries will choose to vote with their own conscience”./Periscopi/
