Kosovo has already launched its rescue teams towards Albania, since floods have caused major damage.
Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs, Flamur Sefaj, has announced that he has approved sending rescue teams to Albania from the Kosovo Emergency Management Agency.
He has announced that the teams consist of 34 members selected from the Professional Fire and Rescue Units.

The Republic of Albania is facing an emergency situation due to constant rains and according to their predictions, the situation is getting worse. As a result of this in co-ordination with the AME General Director, I have approved the launch of rescue teams in surface waters from the Kosovo Emergency Management Agency.
The teams are comprised of 34 members selected from the Professional Fire and Rescue Units, equipped with relevant tools for development of rescue operations in surface waters, and this, of course, without damaging our reactional capacity within the country.
