The Democratic League of Kosovo has rejected the outcome of the Central Election Commission after the provisional and postal vote count, where the winner has released Shpend Ahmeti of Vetevendosje.
Its deputy chairman, Lutfi Haziri, has said that the recount is the only process that dawns Pristina's outcome and that they will use any legal way to bring the capital to a recount.
“The recount is the only process that whites Pristina's score. We will use every legal route for Pristina and recount the” vote, Haziri has said.
However, political affairs connoisseur Donik Sallova says this case has been closed, since the Supreme Court has already given its word.
In a proposal for Indexline, Salova says that for this reason, the LDK's stance on refusing to admit defeat conflicts with the institutional tradition in which they are called.
The vote counting issue in Pristina is closed. Hence, it is called the Supreme Court, beyond its decisions there is no other judicial institution in the Republic of Kosovo that is competent for judging election processes. Therefore, the LDK's stance on refusing to admit defeat falls against the institutional tradition in which they are called”, Sallova said.
Otherwise, following complaints made by the LDK and PDK, PZAP decided that Pristina and Prizren would go to a recount. However, this did not happen, since the Supreme Court has rejected this decision after the Vetevendosje Movement complained. /Indesksonline/
