Found for a moment without the majority of votes in the Council, in the face of the FRD adviser's vague position and the lack in the hall of a Socialist adviser, Mayor Erion Veliaj risked falling into what is a mayor's political document, the budget.
But, the two votes it needed to pass over the amendments, Veliaj found them in the votes of a Republican adviser and an LSI adviser.
After voting pro, the LSI adviser made this comment: “Mayor is working and I don't want to go to history as someone blocking work in Tirana! As long as I'm working, I'm going to continue to support him by vote on Council”.
On the other hand, Ferdinand Papadhima of the Republican Party has made no comment on the pro vote in Thursday's collection of the Municipal Council. In response, in a recent political act, Mayor Erion Veliaj freed Units Administrators 2, 8, 11 and Brzheta from office.
Veliaj spoke personally to the 4 LSI managers and thanked them for the 2-year contribution to Baski, as well as appointed the four new administrators from the ranks of the Socialist Party.
