A large number of classified military documents were stolen from North Korean hackers last year, according to media reports Tuesday, reports “Deutsche Welle”, Periscopi broadcast.
Rhee Cheol-hee, a lawmaker of South Korea's ruling Democratic Party, said hackers entered Seoul's military data centre last September, the daily newspaper “Choun Ilbo” and South Korea news agency “Yonpa” reported.
Rhee said hackers had access to 235 gigabite of sensitive data. Among the available documents were the 5015 and 3100 Operational Plans for South Korea and the United States in case of a war against North Korea.
Rhee added that the contents of 80 per cent of the documents have not yet been identified, but South Korean emergency plan for his special forces was stolen, as well as details of the joint annual military exercises with the US.
Pyongyang denied that he was behind the latest cyberattack, criticising Seoul for “falbriming” of this news./Periscopi/
