A police action codenamed “Taxia 2” has led to the destruction of a prostitution group, where 10 people have been arrested and three others have been prosecuted.
The arrested and prosecuted persons charged with “criminal acts Use prostitution” and “Narcotics production and sale”.
Prostitution was exercised in a hotel at the intersection of “Electric Market”. The girls involved in this prostitution group moved in a taxi.
The organiser of this criminal gang was Albina Kasa, 26, of Elbasan. Prostitution fees ranged from 50 to 150 euros.

The Tirana Police structures, in co-operation with the Tirana Prosecutor, have successfully finalised the code-named operation “Free taxi 2”, during which 10 citizens were arrested, as well as 3 others being prosecuted, who exercised illegal activities, as a network for “sexual exploitation of prostitution”.
The arrested citizens are as follows:
1. Ruzhdzhi Gapi, 41, born and resident in Tirana, uncondemned. Arrested for committing criminal work “Using prostitution”
2. Edmond Cken, 49, born and resident in Tirana, not condemned before. Arrested for committing criminal work “Using prostitution”,
3. Albina Kasa, 26, born in Elbasan and residential in Tirana, not convicted before. Arrested for committing criminal work “Using prostitution”,
4. A. Pollution, 37, born and resident in Tirana, not condemned before. Banned to commit criminal work “holding prostitution bars”
5. Jani Murati (Gzim Kassemi), 59, born and resident in Tirana, uncondemned. Banned for criminal action “Using prostitution”,
6. Eric Sulejmanasi, 44, born and resident in Tirana, not condemned. Banned for criminal action “Using prostitution”,
7. Elton Mimini, 23, born and resident in Tirana, uncondemned. Banned for criminal action “Using prostitution”,
8. A.L., 44, born and inhabited in Tirana, not condemned before. Arrested for the criminal act of “Prostitution”,
9. F.P., 32, born in Fier and resident in Tirana, not condemned. Arrested for the criminal act of “Prostitution” and producing narcotics sales.
10. D.D., 42, born and resident in Tirana, convicted earlier.
Citizens with initials have been prosecuted in a free state:

The operation for the crackdown on this structured criminal group was finalised by the Department for Illegal Trafficking in the Tirana Police Department following a five-month investigation into special methods in co-operation with the Judiciary District Attorney Tirana.
Citizens arrested in fagharza within the operation are suspected as perpetrators of criminal acts such as “Using prostitution”, “maintaining and using prostitution environments”, “Producing and selling narcotics” and “Prostitution”.
Under criminal proceedings in 2017, it has been possible to document the criminal activity of the aforementioned citizens, who in time and various countries in the city of Tirana, have exploited, mediated and received prostitution fees ranging from 50 to 150 euros.
Organisers in this event -- Albina Kayea, Jani Murati (Alias Gzim Kassemi), Ruzhdi Gapi, Edmond Scale, Altin Sulejmanas and Elton Mimini, in collaboration with each other, have used girls of different ages (the names quoted above) to practice prostitution with customers found by organisers.
Criminal activity was facilitated by activity as taxi driver of citizens Ruzhdi Gapi and Gzim Kasemi, making it possible to transport girls, who were practicing prostitution, to hotels and facilities known to them, such as environment “Hotel” near the intersection of “electrical market”, owned by citizens A. Maybe.
During the arrests, narcotic substances of the type of cocaine divided into portation have been found in some of the environments.
The operation is seized in the quality of material evidence: 2 vehicles, 9 mobile phones, 1 doses of cocaine, and a sum of $10,000.
The procedure materials will be passed to the Court District Prosecutor Tirana for further investigation, to uncover possible links and extension of this criminal network.
State police follow up on territory control, prevention of criminal events, and the crackdown on lawlessness, and in this context invite citizens to call for free in numbers 112 and 129 when they find lawlessness, guaranteeing them for swift and impartial response.
