Ambassador Bajrami complains to Soren for the Serbian minister's statement: She spoke out loud to what Vuchqi thinks

Kosovo's Ambassador to Brussels and the head of the negotiating team, Agron Bajrami, has said it has raised for discussion with EU emissar Peter Sorensen, the Serbian Minister for “ethnic cleansing".

Bajrami has written that she has said aloud what Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic thinks.

“I have officially addressed with Emissar Sorensen's alarming statement by a Serbian minister who openly supports ethnic cleansing of Albanians in Kosovo. The Serbian minister said what the Serbian president thinks -- she just shouldn't have said it out loud, while he is now trying to control the damage”, Bajrami wrote.

“Declaration and such conduct by Serbian officials represent a clear violation of the Brussels Agreement in 2023, whose pre-multipulation engages the “sides over the legacy of the past” and acknowledges that <x3-repreceptive borders and respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty... are a fundamental condition for peace”. This rhetoric seriously undermines dialogue, confidence and normalisation of the EU based on mutual recognition and respect. Serbia's design is simply empty promises -- not sincere repentance or rejection of Milosevic-era crimes. Kosovo remains committed to the process, but only if its fundamental principles are consistently based. What value does it have to talk about implementation when Serbia continues to break agreements in words and deeds?”, has added Ambassador Agron Bajrami./ Periscope.
