(2 hours ago)Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after Serbian Minister Snezana Paunovic's statement, which cited Kosovo's “ethnic cleansing”, responding to criticism of his lack of immediate reaction.
In a post on the “X” platform, Rama said Albania has reacted through the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, citing that this is how a self-respecting state operates.
The Albanian prime minister criticised the demands for continuing reactions to statements by Serbian officials, saying Tirana should not be transformed into “a hysterical choir” whenever such statements are made.
“We have reacted through the foreign minister, as does a state of self-respect”, Rama wrote among other things. / Periscopi/
