Radoniqi vows professional election process

Kreshnik Radoniqi, chairman of the CEC, before beginning drawing lots for the ranking of political parties in the ballot for early elections on June 7th has said this activity marks an important moment and the procedure will be conducted in an open and transparent manner.
“The CEC is continuing preparations for organising early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, and today's activity takes place under these preparations. After a long and intense period of election processes over the past year, the CEC remains committed to being organised professionally, transparently and in line with the legal deadlines”, he said, the economy reports.
According to him, the CEC is working on all organisational and technical aspects of the process in order for citizens to be offered a fair electoral process.
“The Central Election Commission is currently working on all organisational and technical aspects of the process in order for citizens to be offered a fair election process on voting day both in and out of the country. During the coming weeks, other pre-priced activities will be organised, including the preparation of election materials, balloting and other administrative and technical issues. The CEC will also continue co-operation with institutions and all parties involved in the election process so that each phase of preparation can be realised according to scheduled” planning and deadlines, Radoniqi has added.
