Police spokesman for the Pristina region Enis Plana has confirmed the news about Periscope.
"Around 1: 00 p.m., police have accepted the tip that a person allegedly entered the Lake of Batala and was not seen coming out.", Plana said.
He's made it known that by 1: 00 p.m., he has accepted the information that a person allegedly entered the water at Lake Batlava and was then not seen coming out.
Once the information is received, all relevant police units are engaged, as well as other search-saving units, in order to locate the person. Currently, the search and rescue operation is continuing", the police report said.
According to Periscop sources, it was initially reported that a young man has disappeared in the lake, while authorities have immediately launched the search operation.
