FIFA Surprises, Chooses World's Best Player

FIFA has published the rankings of the best players after the 2026 World Cup group phase, while names such as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbarpe and Harry Kane have failed to take first place.
Sort is drafted through FIFA new rating system developed in co-operation with Arsène Wenger and supported by statistical data Aramco, where the offensive, creative and protective performance of each footballer is analyzed.
Undavi surprised everyone
At the top of the list is Germany's attacker Denis Undavi, with a mark of 8.36 on the offensive, leaving Lionel Messin and Kylean Mbarpin behind.
What makes this statistics even more special is the fact that Undova was not entitled to any of the group stage matches.
It was always activated by the bench, but managed to have a tremendous impact, recording an average goal contribution every 17.2 minutes and a goal every 28.7 minutes.
Undova scored a goal and gave two assistings in the 7-1 victory over Curachaos, while then achieved two goals as substitutes for the Côte d'Ivoire.
Messy and Muckpe on the podium
Lionel Messi ranks second with a score of 8.34 in the offensive, following six goals scored in this world, becoming the best goal scorer in the history of the tournament.
In third place is Kylian Mbappe with a mark of 8.13, while Winnitius Junior holds fourth position.
