PSRK Act: Serbian Kosovo Police Lieutenant Charged With Sending BIA Secret Information and Documents

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) on May 8th 2026 has filed an indictment against police lieutenant Bojan Jevtiq, who is charged that he has consistently collected, provided and broadcast to Serbian BIA information and official documents classified as “condenial” and “Secret”, connecting to the security and constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the indictment provided by “Battle for Justice“, Jevtic is charged with having an indefinite period of time between the 17th and 2025th, respectively, until the moment of his arrest, in the quality of the police officer with the lieutenant rank and in the post of Chief of Operations at the Police Station Border, deliberately and consistently broadcast to the Serbian Intelligence Service (BIA) information and official documents classified as <1x>condencial” and”, which were linked to Kosovo's constitutional safety and order.
Yevtic accused of “Spy” and “Unlicited content”.
According to the indictment, Bojan Jevtic without authorization and outside his official competencies has provided documents and materials that connect to the activities of the Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Agency for Intelligence (AKI), which he has later made available by broadcasting and communicating to representatives of BIA.
The indictment says that the defendant Jevtic has sent this information through electronic communication tools “ i n “, in particular to BIA official known as “Cira”, with whom he has met physically in some cases in Belgrade.
Hence, it is said that with these acts, the accused, though aware of the classified nature of documents and possible consequences, has seriously violated national security, constitutional order and the functioning of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, and has directly jeopardised the lives and security of state officials and its citizens.
Therefore for these actions, Bojan Jevtic is tasked with criminal work “Spy” from Article 124, paragraph 6 concerning paragraph 4 and Article 77 of Penal Code.
On the other hand, at the second point of the indictment, Bojan Jevic is charged with having been found in possession, without authorization and contrary to the law in effect, a “Zastava” gun with clips and 43 bullets, which have been seized at the scene.
With this, Yevtic is charged with committing criminal work “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons” by Article 366, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.
The Special Prosecutor has proposed to the Court, preventing the exercise of functions in public administration for 5 years, continuing the detention measure against Yevtic, the seizure and extermination of the weapon, the first in the amount of 2,000,000 dinars, 500 Swiss francs, as well as 7003 euros, as assets acquired with the commission of criminal action. /Periscope
