It becomes known that, this joint commitment is aimed at strengthening professional co-operation, increasing road safety and providing an efficient service to citizens and all road users, especially during the summer season when circulation between the two countries marks significant growth.

Joint patrols of Kosovo Police and Albanian State Police
From July 1st, 2026 have launched joint patrols by Kosovo Police and Albanian State Police officials on the territory of the Republic of Albania, within the framework of inter-institutional co-operation between the two police officers.
This joint commitment is aimed at strengthening professional co-operation, increasing road safety and providing as efficient service for citizens and all road users, especially during the summer season when circulation between the two countries marks significant growth.
The patrols are realised in close co-operation and co-ordination between the two police, reflecting the partnership built over the years and the shared commitment to increased public safety, preventing traffic accidents and respecting road rules.
Kosovo police highly assess co-operation with the Albanian State Police and remain committed to the development of joint initiatives contributing to the safety of the two countries' citizens.
