Rama after the ticket price lift: If paid digitally, it's almost the same.

Pristina municipality Chairman Progress Rama, after the expensive Urban Traffic Bus Tickets, said they are aiming to digitise the payments of these tickets.

He said that's why physical tickets cost more expensive, while those purchased through the “Digital Towers” are cheaper.

The citizens who use the digital wallet have the almost same ticket or much cheaper than those who pay cash. This is a process of modernizing the entire fleet”.

Rama said that on the new buses that will come “have the opportunity to so touch the phone or card system, even these tickets have remained low, so they're not up”.

It's just what they pay cash for. And I'm saying we're trying to get as many citizens as possible to adapt to bus use, because I'm saying we're modernizing the bus fleet in all parts of the capital. So we already have only a large number of 24 buses that circulate young people, and there are 20 more coming, and we have 100 more and more new buses in the capital, which enable citizens to use the system faster and faster”, Rama said, reports Online Economics.

Nowadays public transportation tickets will be expensive. Prices are not the same if bought physically or with SMS or through digital wallets.

Tickets bought through digital wallet or SMS, through mobile operators, will have lower prices compared to physical tickets. The changes include one-way, one-way, one-day, weekly, month-long tickets, ticket to the airport line, as well as annual and digital corporate tickets” were said on yesterday's announcement.

One-way physical ticket will be 80 cents, and that digital 60 cents.

The daily physical ticket will take place from 80 cents to 1 euro and 20 cents, while those who buy it with SMS or through digital wallets will pay the same for 1 euro. /Periscopi/
