Six persons arrested in Gjilan, suspected of serious theft, police details

Kosovo police have reported that six people suspected of serious theft have been arrested in Gjilan.
Police in its communiqué add that, in this regard, evidence allegedly the same in co-operation has been involved in at least one case of serious criminal activity while there are doubts that the same are involved in several other cases of theft and heavy theft.
Under legal procedures and with authorisation from the competent court, checks have been carried out at several locations in Gjilan, Pristina and Fushe Kosovo. Material evidence has been seized during these checks, including three vehicles suspected of being used during criminal acts as well as mobile phones, says the report.

The Regional Police Directorate in Gjilan, respectively, investigators from the Regional Investigation Unit in Gjilan in co-ordination and with authorisation from the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, as a result of a several-month investigation and intensive investigative actions with the aim of providing relevant evidence and evidence, including the implementation of classified technical measures in the investigation today, on 1905.2026 have managed to identify and arrest six suspected Kosovo males.

The suspects have been interviewed in the presence of defence attorneys, until, under the State Prosecutor's decision, all six suspects have been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.
