Tens of fruit-reported cases for more than two months in Kosovo

Kosovo's National Institute of Public Health has announced that during the period of 16 April to 29 June of this year, a total of 47 fruited cases have been reported.
According to municipalities, the highest number of cases are reported by the municipality of Pristina on 14 occasions, the Ferizaj municipality on 12 occasions, the six-case Kacanic, Fushe-Kosovo on three occasions, Lipjan, Vushtrri, Shjetri and Obilic, as well as by one case municipalities such as Gjilan, Drinas, Decani and Vitia.
IKPK, through official announcement, has recommended that each person with suspicious symptoms of measles, such as high fever, frying or changes in his skin, cough, shaving, or conveyor, be immediately presented to the nearest health institutions.
In view of the high efficiency of the measles, the risk of spreading it to the community, and the complications producing measles, IKPK urges parents and caregivers to verify their children's vaccination status and provide vaccines according to the regular communication calendar at family medical centres”, the report says.
According to the IKKPK, the vaccine remains the most effective and safer measure for preventing measles, protecting independent individuals and preserving public health.
