The LDK with a joint statement after the meeting: Full support for Head of Headship Reconfirmed, Election Under Standard Terms

The LDK reports that its College of Branchs, gathered today at the LDK headquarters, examined political developments in the country, the election outcome, the institutional situation and the LDK's engagement in this period.
The LDK statement says that “is reconfirmed full support for the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo in exercising their political and statuteic responsibilities.”.
In addition, domestic elections are expected to be held during 2027, in line with statuteal deadlines.
After discussions, the Branch College came up with five points:
“1. It highly values the commitment and work of all structures of the Democratic League of Kosovo in recent elections, stressing that, within a relatively short period of preliminary elections, the LDK achieved increased civic support. The university requires a complete analysis of the election result, with the aim of learning needed lessons and identifying opportunities for further improvement of LDK's organisation and political action.
2. Reconfirms the full support for the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo in exercising their political and statuteic responsibilities, in commitment to the institutional stability of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as in the protection and representation of the values, principles and policies of the LDK in the country's institutions.
3. Reconfirms the commitment of the Democratic League of Kosovo to contribute to the construction of functional institutions, to respect constitutional order and to providing solutions that serve state and civic interest.
4. Rithexon that the issues of the internal organisation of the LDK are regulated by the party statue and its legitimate organ decisions. Regular elections for all LDK management structures will be held during 2027, in line with the statuteary deadlines.
5. It invites all structures, LDK members and officials to focus their energy and commitment on strengthening the Democratic League of Kosovo further, on maintaining its unity, and on meeting the responsibilities we have towards citizens and the Republic”, the report said.
“Colegium of branches re-exemplifies that the Democratic League of Kosovo remains committed to internal democracy, Stitus respect and institutional decision making. With unity, responsibility and confidence in our political project, the LDK will continue its journey in the service of the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens, the announcement concludes.
