KSF deepens co-operation with US, re-exemplifies NATO membership target

The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Union Jashari, hosted the J5/8 deputy chief of the United States European Command (USEUCOM J5/8), Brigadier General Chris A. McKinney.
Initially, the two generals discussed the current co-operation between the Kosovo Security Force and the European Command of the United States, as well as the need for boosting this co-operation in the future.
General Yasar announced General McKinney's developments and achievements of the KSF, focusing also on plans for the future aimed at achieving aspirations for NATO membership.
The two generals also praised the KSF's contribution under the International Stabilisation Force for Gas (ISF), where the first KSF container is expected to be deployed soon.
At the end of the meeting, General McKinney thanked General Jasharin for his co-operation and leadership during the time when KSF is in the final phase of the PRT, and renewed USEUCOM's commitment to supporting it. KSF in the future.
