KKP announces competition for election of State Chief Prosecutor

The announcement of the contest took place by five votes per, one against and no abstention, reports the “Justice Vow “.

The competition will be open 15 days' work.

Similarly, member Milot Krasniqi took word, saying the process for the chief state prosecutor has been blocked for four years on purpose. He posed questions about why it is now developing so urgently and why the Council is falling under the influence of other powers.

Krasniqi said the Council for this process should show integration and not develop someone's under-effective processes.

In addition, Krasniqi said that before the public he would pose some questions about who prevented the State Chief Prosecutor's decree, and whether we should have the Chief Prosecutor who wants other powers.

Member Krasniqi said if during the previous process for the chief state prosecutor there were violations, then according to him, there are competent means and institutions to provide answers to allegations of violations.

Furthermore, Krasniqi declared that former President Vjosa Osmani took the role of arbitrator when he did not decree Blerim Isufajn for the Chief State Prosecutor, adding that there is no decision, but only an announcement of impunity, which she said was not a member of the KKP.

Likewise, Krasniqi said a letter has arrived on the Council from President Albulen Haxhiu's task manager, demanding that the contest be announced, since the case said such an approach is unacceptable and that it is meant as interference in the work of the KKP.

Krasniqi added that if the competition is announced, a bad precedent would be set.

The “will create a bad precedent practice so that the chief state prosecutor is not executed just because he is not pleased with the name”, Krasniqi said.

Meanwhile, the leader, Arian Gashi, himself, said he does not get involved in discussions that include aspects of other powers, adding that this position is now a task drudgery.

Afterwards, Krasniqi received the word, saying who is the president to be involved in discussions on when to announce the contest, asking not to be affected.

Krasniqi asked that the process be carried out on its own, not demanding that someone else be involved.

Gashi said the only position needed by the president of state is that of the chief state prosecutor and that without a president's decree we cannot have the chief state prosecutor.

Meanwhile, other member Visar Krasniqi said the demand not to announce the contest is meaningless, where he said the state chief prosecutor's absence is a stumbling block and that it has also been required by partners to announce this competition.

Krasniqi said he understands that someone may even be emitative, but that they should continue with the procedure for the system to provide the chief state prosecutor, so the same called for the council's duties to be exercised.

In the end, with five votes per, it was voted for the competition's announcement.
