Kamberi urges clarification from Serbia for blocking funds for Presevo Valley

The only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has asked Serbia's prime minister and the governor of the People's Bank of this state for blocking funds allocated by the Kosovo Government for the Presevo Valley.
In the question posed at the Assembly session, he has sought to know whether there is a government decision about it and whether it is on what legal basis.
“Is there a decision by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the People's Bank of Serbia, the Ministry of Finance, or any other state body that borders, ban or block the implementation of donations that the Albanian National Council receives from the Kosovo budget through commercial banks in the Republic of Serbia? . If such a decision exists: a. B. Which state organ has approved such a decision or instruction? c. Do these measures apply only to the Albanian National Council or even to other national councils of national minorities in the Republic of Serbia? Has the Albanian National Council been placed on any domestic or official lists of restrictions or increased supervision concerning financial transactions?
He has said that blocking these means jeopardises the functioning of the National Council.
“The long-term blockade of transfers seriously risks realising national minority rights for self-government in the fields of culture, education, information and official use of language and writing. This presents a direct attack on the existential issues of the National Council and all beneficiaries named”, the Albanian deputy has indicated. /Periscope/
