Emergency meeting Trump with Iran security team

Fears rise over the return of the conflict in the Middle East, while US President Donald Trump is expected to hold an emergency meeting with the national security team for the situation with Iran on Tuesday.
According to American media, possible military scenarios against Iran will also be discussed at the meeting amid mounting tensions in the region.
Trump has increased pressure on Tehran over the weekend, warning that “koha is ending” for Iran and that the country must act quickly for a deal.
The American president stated that if Iran does not present a better proposal for negotiations, it could face a much tougher “”.
At the centre of the crash remains the Iranian nuclear programme and US allegations of nuclear weapons development.
On Sunday, Trump had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about developments in Iran. A day earlier he had even assembled the national security team at his golf club in Virginia.
Vice President J.D. attended the meeting. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and other senior American officials.
Meanwhile, Pakistan and Qatar are stepping up diplomatic efforts to mediate between the US and Iran in an effort to avoid the return of the war.
The situation was tense after the attack on the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates. Authorities said three fears entered the country's airspace, where two collapsed from the air defence, while another hit an electric generator near the plant.
Emirates did not directly accuse Iran, but senior officials said the attack constitutes a dangerous “escalation” and a serious threat to security in the region. /Panorama
