We started today in Gjakova with visits to companies"Rronifer"and"Aulona", two powerful examples of local production that despite major challenges are keeping our local economy alive.
At"Rronifer", under the leadership of the Cameri family, we looked closely at advanced technology and a professional team of 200 workers who produce for the country and export abroad.
At the company"Aulona", which operates successfully since 1989, we saw a wonderful family business model. Found by Mr. Hamdi Krasniqi and now led by his son Graniti, she employs about 100 workers, where 95% are women and girls.
However, this extraordinary will today is being hit by serious state barriers such as the ongoing energy crisis, lack of infrastructure, contract uncertainty and the instability of legislation. Supporting local production and eliminating these barriers remain our top priority for Kosovo development.
