Defence Ends Case in Trial of Thaci and Others in Case Against Justice Administration

The defence of Hashim Thaci, the Smajt Union, Isni Kilajt, Fadil Fazlius and Hajredin Kuci have announced that they have no evidence or other witnesses to submit, and that they have closed their cases in the trial for criminal acts against justice administration.
In its announcement, Thaci's defence says this announcement does not mean that the defence will not take any legal means for cases that have yet been left without a verdict on the part of the judge, reports the “Justice Voting“.
Smajt's defence has said that at this stage, they do not intend to submit evidence, but reminded us that it is a prosecution complaint that there is still no verdict. This issue, they claim, will depend on the decision in that complaint.
In case IA009-F00002 complaints are fully or in part approved, Mr. Bashkim Smaj maintains the right to hold an opening defence declaration and present evidence (goof and/or in writing) from the accused and/or others, and at that stage a conference should be held on preparing defence”, it is said in the pre-emptive of Smaj's defence.
Similarly, Kilaj's has indicated that she has closed her case but that she will present evidence in case the prosecution's evidence is accepted, which is the subject of her complaint, which she still has no verdict.

According to the indictment, Thaci individually and through joint actions with groups; The band Fazliu (Fadil Fazliu and Fahriy Fazliu), the Smaj Group (Bashkim Smaj, Blerim Shala and Artan Behrami) and the Kilaj Group (Isni Kilaj and Vlasnim Kryeziu) have followed a pattern of conduct to prevent official persons from performing official duties.
The indictment says Thaci has led and participated in these efforts through his visits to detention facilities during the time he was detained under his trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
