(a month ago)The CEC made the decision to approve the design and contents of the ballot for voting outside Kosovo for early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. The approved ballot will only be used for the mail vote, which will begin on May 25th and end on June 6, 2026.
According to the Election Order for recording and voting outside Kosovo, The CEC will make sure that voters registered for voting by mail, sending via mail, among other things, the ballot.
At the next point of the agenda, The CEC made the decision to adopt the formula for the composition of Constitutional Landing Councils. According to the formula adopted, The CEC, in the coming days, will appoint 214 members of the Status Councils with Conditions, which will be nominated by political subjects. On election day, conditional voting will be possible at 52 polling stations, within 38 polling stations.
At the preliminary meeting, through the circuit procedure, the CEC has approved the formula for the composition of the Local Councils, in which the regular vote will be held on June 7th. According to the formula adopted, The CEC, under way, will appoint 14,500 members of the Local Councils, 1,110 of which, members of the reserve. Members to be appointed will represent participating subjects in the elections and will be responsible for the reconciliation and management of the election process at the polls.
In addition, the CEC decided on adopting the formula for the composition of the counting teams at 38 Community Counting Centre. According to formula, The CEC will soon appoint 2,064 members of 508 counting teams, who will be nominated by political subjects and engaged in these centres to verify the results of political subjects after counting in the polls and counting the votes of candidates for MPs.
