CEC approves postage address for diaspora vote in 22 states

The Central Election Commission at today's meeting has approved postal boxes addresses for voting from outside Kosovo, which will take place from May 25th to June 6th.
CEC member and head of the Council for Election Operations, Alban Krasniqi, said the mailbox addresses remain almost the same as those of the past elections.
The relevant department has brought addresses which are the same mailboxes as in the past, only in two countries have been changed”, he said.
According to the CEC, with the aim of providing the opportunity for voting for citizens who are registered to vote via mail, mailboxes are functional in 22 states: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Canada, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Albania, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey and Switzerland.
Also functional will be the KEC's permanent mailbox in Kosovo, reports Online Economy, Transaction Periscope.
At today's meeting, the CEC has also approved the Operational Security Plan for early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, which will be held on 7 June 2026.
Also approved has been design and content of the ballot and brochure for early parliamentary elections. /Periscope
