Albanian students arrive from RMV, region launches protests in Skopje

The protest of Albanian students in Skopje, North Macedonia has started with several minutes late, as many other Albanian students from the country and the region were expected to arrive.
A large number of protesters, especially students, have already gathered before the Stone Bridge in Skopje.

The protest began with the intonation of Albanian national anthem and with calls “KLA”, as protesters launched the march in an organized manner.
Students are protesting to seek permission to take the exam in Albanian, as it enjoys official status in the country.
Organisers have warned of mass participation, stressing that protection of the right to use Albanian language in institutions and professional processes is a matter of dignity and equality.
