The government of Kosovo, at its next meeting, has approved the proposal for declaring the Islamic Revolutionary Guard (Islamist Revolutionary Guard) IRC) as a terrorist organisation on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, the Online Economy reports.
The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, said this decision is aimed at strengthening Kosovo's legal and strategic base in relation to international security and the fight against terrorism.
This proposal-declaration presents the legal and strategic basis for declaring Islamic Revolutionary Guard troops as a terrorist organisation in the Republic of Kosovo. I RC has been identified as a structure that uses terrorism and organised violence as foreign policy instruments, contributing to regional and global destabilisation. Through this decision, Kosovo strengthens its stance in protecting international security, democratic values and human rights”, Kurti said.
